	Membership in the Society shall be restricted to persons for whom a significant part of their occupation involves writing, reporting, editing or overseeing business, financial or economic news for newspapers, magazines, newsletters, journals, books, press or syndicated services, radio or television, online publications, or other media approved by the board and to teachers and students of business journalism or business media subjects at recognized colleges or universities or other organizations approved by the Society's Board of Governors. Members may retain full membership status, after being assigned to another news position at news organizations, even if the new position is not directly involved in business news. Regarding the conference: If you would like a roommate, please indicate this in the special needs section below. Attire With the exception of the annual banquet, we're declaring the annual conference a "business casual" event. We want you to be comfortable, but not so casual that the visiting CEOs think we're a bunch of slobs. So take a step up from the jeans and running shoes, but don't worry about wearing a tie or the full business armor for the daily sessions. We do dress up a little more for the annual banquet. Business suits and ties are appropriate for men, and dressy business attire for women.
